Significant Features & Benefits Size of shaft diameter is 0.35 times of centre distance, which results more strength of the shaft. hence more power can be transmitted. where as in other blowers it is hardly 0.20 times of the centre distance. resulting breakage / twisting of the shaft Ratio of over all diameter of the rotary lobes/impellers to the centre distance is less resulting in less momentum, less frictional horse power losses & less load on the bearings.whereas in other blowers it is more as compared to Beta blowers All the Beta blowers have large oil sumps on drive & non-drive ends. Hence the limiting speed of all the Beta blowers is very much better as compared to others. Both side oil lubrication is one of the factor due to which Beta blowers are meant for high RPMs & effective power savings, whereas in other blowers one side oil & one side grease lubricated resulting in high temperature rise & less life of the bearings
As most of the break downs takes place due to higher limits of the vibrations in rotating equipments but in Beta blowers the legs are provided in the casing itself due to which the vibration factor does not act directly on the bearings resulting in less breakdowns & longer life of the bearings Beta blowers are more sturdy and reliable comparable to other type i.e. more suitable for heavy / continuous duties. thickness of each casting material is more in Beta blowers comparable to other brand All the Beta blowers are left hand drive due to which the gears always remains in non-compressive nature enhancing a smooth & steady operation Beta blowers are supplied with spring loaded safety valve mounted in the discharge end of the blower, which require less maintenance comparatively to dead weight safety valve. spring loaded safety valve is always more reliable & accurate as compared to dead weight safety valve Beta blowers are mostly suitable for running at higher speeds up to 4000 RPM where as other blowers of similar construction are running maximum up to 1200 RPM due to use of spur gear. Hence it results that the flow capacity of different Beta blowers is very much higher as comparable to the size of other manufacturer which in Turn save energy for same flow capacity Beta blowers are provided with angular contact ball bearings at non-drive end, which eliminates the chances of shifting of the lobes/rotors to either side. Hence it eliminates the chances of break downs Noise level of Beta blowers is comparatively less from other brands of same construction There is no air leakage through shaft in Beta blowers.
